My Approach to Training
I've spent around 30 years working in health and social care, and around 17 years as a qualified trainer. That experience shapes everything I do. I know what good care looks like, I understand the pressures your team faces, and I design training that is genuinely useful — not just a compliance exercise.
All training is delivered face-to-face, can be provided at your service or an external venue, at a time that works for you. I take time to understand your team, your client group and your specific challenges before I design your programme. Resources and ongoing support are always included.
My support doesn't end when the training session finishes. I provide ongoing guidance to help managers embed learning into everyday practice, identify areas for improvement and ensure relevant policies and procedures reflect current best practice. This helps services prepare for CQC inspection and demonstrate clear evidence of safe, effective and well-led care.
